His published works include The Mountains of Canada, Canada The Mountains, Oregon the Coast, The Naked Mountain, and Man Up. He is the recipient of the Friends of Canadian Broadcasting’s Dalton Camp Award for his writing on democracy and the media, and is currently working on two novels.
Randy’s long-running weekly radio show, Radio Free Kaslo, is enjoyed by listeners across Canada and around the world. He founded the Kaslo Institute, and is Director of Communications for the BC Rural Centre. He’s Media Manager for the world-famous Kaslo Jazz Festival, is in two bands, and lives with his equally accomplished wife, Janet, a dog, two cats, and two of the world’s hardiest goldfish.
