Enter one of nature’s spiritual places for a natural and musical acoustic forest walk at dusk.
“It is in the still silence of nature that one will find true bliss.”
– J.J.C
Experience Description:
Acoustic….raw, real, natural. The evening light that softly filters through the forest is gradually replaced by twilight and near silence. It is now quiet time in the forest…or is it? Let your senses guide you through this experience from start to end; close your eyes, breathe, listen, feel, be silent…..and you will be rewarded. Join us to explore this time of day in a slow deliberate fashion, letting your senses guide you through one of the West Kootenay’s sacred forests. Let your senses of feel and hearing take over as slow darkness falls on the forest and be reminded of what acoustic really means: raw, real, natural. Immerse yourself in the forest in quiet reflection, and have a small taste of Vipassana, the simple meditation technique of being silent—the forest will decide what will be offered. A snack and hot drink will be served to seduce yet another of your senses. Your evening experience will culminate when the forest comes to life and silence becomes sweet sound, with music from a local singer/songwriter wafting through the trees…
